Who am I and What I stand for.
My name is Yanjun Li. I'm from Suzhou which the city near ShangHai in south part of China. I've been studied in U.S. for 3 years. I still remember how tough I came through when I first came to U.S. Only few words can be spoken out of my mouth. I don't have any friends in this city. Now, this is my fourth semester in SCSU. I’ve made lots of friends that come from different countries; it makes me feel proud of myself and I’ve learned different cultures.
When I came back to China, my friends always ask one question which is how to prove English skills? I said the environment is the most important thing, someone may ask what is environment? In my opinion, it includes: using English to your main language, speaking and listening English every day. Using English to write whatever you want to write. Living in a place that everything comes from English. So, I prefer to hang out with friends who come from another country.
I love sports. If you are not good at speaking or don’t like socialize, do sports is a good way to make friends. My favorite sport is basketball, each semester I get to know new students that come from China on basketball court.
